
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in banking and financial services IT projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in business process analysis, requirements gathering, system migration and integration initiatives, application testing, data quality management, and stakeholder engagement. The role requires close collaboration with business users, IT teams, and external stakeholders to deliver effective business and technology solutions.
Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
Facilitate workshops and meetings with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
Produce process maps, workflows, and business requirement documents.
Analyze and document existing ( As-Is) business processes.
Design and recommend future-state ( To-Be) processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Support process optimization and transformation initiatives.
Participate in application migration and system integration projects.
Analyze impacts of transitioning from legacy systems to new platforms.
Support data migration, reconciliation, and validation activities.
Coordinate between business users and technical teams throughout project delivery.
Develop and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test plans.
Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing activities.
Track, manage, and resolve defects in collaboration with development teams.
Ensure delivered solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.
Perform data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and quality assessments.
Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and quality issues.
Support implementation of data quality controls and monitoring processes.
Provide functional support for business applications.
Investigate and resolve production issues and user queries.
Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and implement solutions.
Support continuous improvement of application services.
Contribute to advisory assignments and business consulting engagements.
Assist in project planning, analysis, solution recommendations, implementation, and post-implementation reviews.
Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across business and IT functions.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in large banking or financial institutions
Experience in IT migration projects, including legacy system replacement and transformation initiatives.
Experience in system integration projects
Strong experience in business process analysis and redesign (As-Is/To-Be)
Experience in testing financial applications, including UAT and functional testing.
Experience in data quality management and data validation activities
Experience providing application support in a business or financial environment.
Strong knowledge of requirements gathering and analysis methodologies
Experience with UML modeling techniques (Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Process Flows).
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, analysis, and validation.
