
Synechron is seeking an experienced Business Analysis and Agile Delivery professional to serve as a Lead BA and Scrum Master. This hybrid role involves leading requirement gathering sessions with senior stakeholders, translating those requirements into detailed user stories, and facilitating agile teams to deliver complex projects efficiently. The Lead will act as a servant-leader, driving continuous improvement and organizational agility while ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
Software Requirements
Required Software Proficiency:
JIRA, Confluence, Rally, or Azure DevOps — extensive experience in requirement management, backlog grooming, and sprint planning
Agile tools and project tracking software supporting project execution and reporting
Stakeholder communication and collaboration tools — for effective remote and hybrid engagement
Preferred Software Skills:
Advanced proficiency in enterprise collaboration and document management tools
Certifications in Agile or Scrum (CSM, PSM), PMI-ACP, CBAP/CCBA — to support project delivery and expertise in requirements management
Overall Responsibilities
Lead requirements elicitation sessions with senior business stakeholders to understand strategic needs and translate them into detailed user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives), ensuring team adherence to Scrum principles
Guide and mentor project teams, including junior Business Analysts and Scrum Masters, to optimize delivery cycles
Manage the product backlog, prioritize features based on business value and technical feasibility
Support teams in ongoing continuous improvement initiatives and Agile transformation efforts
Conduct impact analysis, feasibility assessments, and solution validation to ensure delivery aligns with business objectives
Collaborate cross-functionally with product owners, development, QA, and operations teams to ensure clarity and cohesion across projects
Track project metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time) and report progress to leadership
Proactively identify and resolve blockers or organizational impediments impacting delivery timelines
Maintain comprehensive documentation including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flows

Experience Requirements
7+ years of combined experience in business analysis and agile project delivery in large or complex environments
Proven track record of leading end-to-end requirement gathering, backlog management, and delivering multiple projects in an agile setting
Experience in financial services, banking, or regulated industries preferred
Strong understanding of SDLC, QA processes, and software delivery best practices
Alternative pathways include extensive experience in requirements management and project leadership in enterprise environments
Day-to-Day Activities
Facilitate requirements workshops with senior stakeholders to capture business needs and translate into detailed user stories
Lead and coordinate sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Collaborate with product managers and technical teams to refine requirements and clarify scope
Track project progress, reporting team metrics and resolving bottlenecks promptly
Conduct impact analysis and feasibility assessments for new features or changes
Support testing and UAT activities to ensure solutions meet business expectations
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and Agile maturity across teams
Maintain project documentation, requirement artifacts, and process guidelines
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
7+ years of experience in business analysis, project management, or Agile delivery roles
Certifications such as CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP, CBAP/CCBA preferred
Proven ability to lead requirements elicitation and manage multiple agile projects successfully
