Position Purpose

The Sales Business Analyst is responsible for supporting Bassett Mechanical’s Strategic Growth and Service function, enabling data-driven performance metrics across the business development teams. The role serves as a subject matter expert on software utilized by our business development function.

Acting as a bridge between Strategic Growth & Service and the enterprise data environment, you will be successful by collaborating with associates to understand their requests and translating business requirements into effective system configurations, reporting solutions, and process improvements. The Sales Analyst is expected to participate in projects to identify strategic improvements within Bassett’s CRM portfolio.

As part of the Bassett Transformation Office (BTO), this role enables digital transformation, reinforces standard work, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts across the enterprise. This role reports to the Director of Enterprise Planning & Business Analytics.

Position Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute recurring Sales Reports and Awards Tracking
• Compile and publish metrics for enterprise, market segments, and divisions
• Analyze sales performance trends and present results to management to inform data-driven business decisions
• Lead or support change management activities, including communication, training, documentation, adoption tracking, and success metrics
• Conduct regular audits of sales opportunity data and processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
• Provide ongoing support for associates, ensuring effective utilization of the CRM to enhance productivity and collaboration
• Monitor updated CRM features and capabilities to suggest improvements and drive innovation
• Recommend and enable CRM updates to meet organizational needs, including customizing workflows, creating task boards & metrics dashboards, and integrations with other tools
• Execute user access requests and template governance of Service Maintenance proposal and pricing software
• Facilitate user access requests and support ticket management of Service Maintenance prospecting software
• Provide administration support for Sales proposal generation and signature software with Marketing
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements, and implement changes to Bassett’s work management platform
• Participate in resolving BTO demand request tickets as assigned
• Support and maintain a safe and Lean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Other Responsibilities

Serve as a key supporting member within the BTO. As a part of the BTO, you will partner to:

• Assess, design, develop, implement, and test opportunities identified by the BTO Operating Committee to improve existing systems and/or processes
• Conduct interviews with end users and other key stakeholders to gain a deeper understanding of the current and future state
• Establish effective connections and partnerships with the company’s IT Department, process/system owners, end users, and other stakeholders. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is critical.
• As part of implementation efforts, ensure adequate documentation of work instructions, SOPs, and training materials.

Summary of Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or equivalent experience in a related field
• Experience at Monday.com Sales CRM or similar platforms (preferred)
• Ability to provide troubleshoot support within software applications and systems
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Experience creating dashboards and reports (Microsoft Power BI experience preferred)
• Understanding of workflow automation, system integrations, and project management principles
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Detail‑oriented, well‑organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Lean/continuous improvement mindset; proactive in identifying opportunities and solving problems
• Experience in training and supporting users on technology platforms
