Location: Remote

Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 (exempt/annual salary)

Responsibilities

  • With moderate supervision, perform advanced analysis, design, and implementation of solutions for new project, maintenance, and enhancement requests to improve and streamline current systems processes.
  • Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements, and recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.
  • Prepares charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis and recommends solutions.
  • Define and develop architectural enhancements to provide additional functionality and flexibility for all supported systems.
  • Develop and implement programming codes to meet designed solutions.
  • Plan and conduct system testing and perform troubleshooting through analysis of code and data, identify system issues and concerns, and provide resolution.
  • Contribute to the development of business solutions while supporting enterprise-wide solutions and/or enhancements.
  • Provide project management and technical expertise on core system projects, including creating project plans and schedules and assessing required resources, time, and cost parameters.
  • Develop and present recommendations to management and senior staff regarding improving and streamlining current core systems processes.
  • Responsible for maintaining a professional and effective relationship with clients.
  • Partner with clients to understand and interpret IT requirements and ensure all core systems work properly through an understanding of company and client business needs.
  • Communicate with other IT departments and more senior IT staff to report and resolve issues.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with all policies, procedures, and regulations relating to job duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience required.
  • Two or more years of programming/systems analysis or related experience required.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Depending on position, advanced programming knowledge in one or more of the following areas: JAVA, C++, UNIX, SAS, SQL. DAO, ADO, .NET, WSS2, WSS3, XML.
  • Strong system analysis, design, project management, and workload scheduling skills required.
  • Proficient personal computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex tasks, design sound and effective solutions, and to code and implement solutions as required.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, to prioritize and work in a multi-tasked environment.
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule.
