ABOUT PORTO & POSITION:

To support our European intensive growth, the Group has decided to build a Center based in Porto with the aim to provide administrative and financial support to the European subsidiaries. In this context we're looking for a Business Analyst R2R Lead. This strategic role involves managing Business Analysts specialized in accounting and controlling, while leading digital transformation projects related to Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 
  Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts (Finance & Controlling), 4 people based in Porto, fostering collaboration and professional growth,
• Coordinate and oversee R2R (Record-to-Report) projects in partnership with local teams, key users, and IS departments,
• Ensure quality and consistency of deliverables, validate functional analysis, and monitor adherence to deadlines,
• Manage the deployment of the R2R Core Model (SAP & Unit4) across European subsidiaries,
• Plan and facilitate business workshops, training sessions, testing phases, and hypercare activities,
• Prioritize enhancement requests and make functional decisions aligned with business objectives,
• Identify and drive opportunities to optimize financial processes (accounting, controlling),
• Gather and formalize business requirements and draft functional specifications,
• Supervise testing phases and ensure successful user adoption of tools,
• Develop and distribute Maintain process and tool documentation for business teams,
• Act as the primary point of contact for R2R topics with local finance departments.

Minimum/Essential Skills/Qualifications

PROFILE:

• Fluent in English and knowledge of French is a plus,
• Master’s degree (engineering school, business school, or university) with a specialization in finance, accounting, or information systems,
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, after first relevant experience in Finance / Controlling activities, the ideal candidate has switched to a business analyst role (connecting Business Requirements with IS development teams)
• Experience in team management or project coordination,
• Strong analytical skills, excellent listening abilities, and synthesis capabilities,
• In-depth knowledge of R2R processes,
• SAP S4 HANA (FI, CO) is a plus.
