Job Description

The candidate manages topology configurations, deployment execution, and program ticket governance for the Amazon Now network. This role requires strong attention to detail, strong analytical acumen, and the ability to manage high-volume deployment pipelines while ensuring zero-defect configuration accuracy across a rapidly scaling store network.

Key job responsibilities
1. Own end-to-end topology configuration workflows- including store attribute setup, service area mapping, fulfillment channel configurations, and go-live readiness validation across all launch workstreams
2. Manage deployment tickets from intake through closure prioritizing based on business criticality, ensuring correct sequencing, and tracking SLA adherence across all open items
3. Execute configuration deployments with zero-defect accuracy validating inputs against SOPs, running pre-deployment checks, and confirming post-deployment health before sign-off
4. Use analytical tools (Excel, SQL, internal dashboards) to audit configuration integrity, identify deployment anomalies, and generate compliance reports that flag deviations before they become customer-impacting
5. Maintain real-time visibility on deployment pipeline health — tracking open vs. closed tickets, aging items, blocked dependencies, and surfacing risks proactively with supporting data
6. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (operations, tech, vendor management, site launch) to unblock configuration dependencies and ensure deployment timelines are not breached
7. Build and maintain documentation for configuration standards, deployment and exception-handling playbooks to enable consistency at scale

About Amazon

Amazon is guided by four principles: customer obsession rather than competitor focus, passion for invention, commitment to operational excellence, and long-term thinking. We are driven by the excitement of building technologies, inventing products, and providing services that change lives. We embrace new ways of doing things, make decisions quickly, and are not afraid to fail. We have the scope and capabilities of a large company, and the spirit and heart of a small one.

Together, Amazonians research and develop new technologies from Amazon Web Services to Alexa on behalf of our customers: shoppers, sellers, content creators, and developers around the world.

Our mission is to be Earth's most customer-centric company. Our actions, goals, projects, programs, and inventions begin and end with the customer top of mind.

You'll also hear us say that at Amazon, it's always "Day 1." What do we mean? That our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon's very first day - to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and focus on delighting our customers.
