Our banking client is seeking a Business Analyst to support a multi-year enterprise initiative focused on centralizing user provisioning across the organization's application landscape. The objective of this program is to transition application access management into a centralized Identity and Access Management (IAM) function, improving governance, standardization, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
Working closely with application owners, business stakeholders, and IAM teams, the Business Analyst will play a key role in onboarding applications into the centralized provisioning framework. This position is responsible for gathering requirements, documenting processes, coordinating onboarding activities, and supporting governance initiatives to ensure a consistent and scalable access management model across the enterprise.
Partner with application owners, business stakeholders, and IAM teams to support the onboarding of applications into a centralized Identity and Access Management (IAM) provisioning framework. Coordinate onboarding activities and facilitate the transition of access management responsibilities while helping to standardize provisioning processes across the organization.
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, including current and future state process flows, access control documentation, standard operating procedures, and provisioning workflows. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), change requests, and implementation activities to ensure successful project delivery.
Assist in strengthening enterprise access governance by supporting access control reviews, documenting governance requirements, and ensuring applications align with organizational IAM standards and compliance requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders, communicating project objectives, timelines, and onboarding requirements while managing expectations throughout the implementation process. Provide regular project updates, facilitate meetings, and support ongoing stakeholder engagement.
Leverage enterprise tools and platforms, including IAM solutions, workflow management applications, and Microsoft Office tools, to track progress, support reporting, and maintain project documentation.
Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM), user provisioning, identity governance, or security-related initiatives within a large enterprise environment. Strong understanding of user provisioning lifecycles, access governance, application onboarding, and business process analysis.
Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, developing process documentation, supporting system implementations, and participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Familiarity with access control frameworks, governance initiatives, and audit requirements is highly desirable.
Experience working with IAM platforms such as SailPoint or similar identity governance solutions, along with workflow tools such as ServiceNow, is considered an asset. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other enterprise productivity tools is required.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive initiatives forward in a fast-paced banking environment. Experience working within financial services or another highly regulated industry is preferred.
