The P&C Programs Business Analyst is responsible for the execution of operational support for P&C Programs. Providing operational and technical support to the P&C Programs team and our MGU/Program Administrator Partners. As the business analyst lead, ensure that all programs have the technical expertise and resources to support MGA and program needs around all aspects of program management outside of underwriting. This includes working with the Program Management and CUO teams, leading due diligence for the onboarding of new programs, maintaining underwriting and operational excellence for assigned P&C Programs and assisting with P&C Programs not directly assigned. Work closely with all Product line leaders, Claims, Risk Services, Actuary, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, Operations, Compliance and other product lines to support the achievement of key underwriting and operational objectives for P&C Programs.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Execution of operational requirements of the P&C Programs portfolio for all assigned programs, including assistance when needed on unassigned programs, including data feed development and maintenance.
Works collaboratively with other teams within P&C Programs, including the Program Management team, the CUO, Underwriting teams and Business Development Lead.
Lead due diligence with onboarding new programs and other technical and operational projects collaborating with all key stakeholders including Product line leaders, Claims, Risk Services, Actuary, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, Operations, IT, Compliance and other groups to achieve key underwriting and operational objectives for P&C Programs.
Identify & communicate operational needs and solutions to Programs leadership that must be executed in order to implement operational improvements.
Identify & maintain master forms inventories for all assigned programs and assist with identifying and maintaining master forms inventories for unassigned programs, including specific forms initiatives that arise.
Develop/enhance processes in place that can improve effectiveness and efficiencies for the P&C Programs team, including the development and maintenance of process manuals and operating guides.
Responsible for Compliance and Regulatory Requirements, including facilitation of Department of Insurance Complaint responses, data calls, implementation of new compliance requirements, oversight of compliance for assigned programs, assist with unassigned programs.
Assist the Underwriting Audit Manager with the preparation, conducting and concluding underwriting audits.
Represent P&C Programs on all appropriate Operational initiatives and as liaison to other groups throughout the company.
Lead or assist as needed Speed to Market (STM) initiatives requiring high level first-party expertise.
Lead or assist as needed Filing initiatives requiring collaboration with internal groups such as Regulatory, Compliance and STM, including development of recommended responses to DOI rejections/objections.
Develop strong knowledge of all data feed requirements at the corporate and program level in order to effectively support the development, maintenance and problem solving with all data feed activities.
Develop strong relationships with Program Administrator key personnel and develop in-depth knowledge of P&C Program business to support partnerships and execution of Arch initiatives.
When requested assist or lead special projects related to first-Party lines to improve underwriting results within P&C Programs.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, Risk-management or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of property and casualty underwriting insurance industry experience required; 5 years preferred.
Travel up to 15% is expected for external (Program Administrator visits and events) and internal meetings.

For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.
$80,000 - $122,200
Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
