About the role

OVO is seeking a Business Analyst to join its team and play a key role in supporting the business through a period of growth and transformation. This role will focus on enhancing and maintaining current process and procedural documentation, while partnering with stakeholders to define and shape future business requirements. The successful candidate will help ensure OVO continues to deliver a seamless customer experience today, while strengthening readiness for future customer migration initiatives.

This role is instrumental in supporting OVO's transformation journey, helping to improve customer and team experiences through technology, data-driven insights, and enhanced operational processes.

Joining the OVO team, the BA will contribute to the delivery of initiatives that enhance OVO's customer experience. Initiatives may span across multiple business domains and technical platforms. You will take end-to-end accountability for all analysis activities on one or more initiatives from initiative inception through to delivery.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Be a ‘go-to’ person for understanding the business context and solution for initiatives.

  • Facilitate discussions, including workshops, with stakeholders to drive the definition of an initiative's objectives, requirements, and processes.

  • Define how the success of an initiative will be measured and implement an appropriate monitoring plan.

  • Work collaboratively with initiative stakeholders to identify a minimum viable product, balancing functional, architectural & user experience considerations

  • Facilitate identification of gaps in solution capability

  • Work collaboratively across other Retail Transformation initiatives, and other programs where necessary to develop an integrated solution.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, such as user manuals and/or system architecture diagrams.

  • Ability to engage with and manage stakeholders at various levels, including executives and end-users.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to systematically identify, isolate, and report defects.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
