Job Title: Business Analyst / Project Coordinator (Junior PM)

Location: Onsite, Washington DC

Work authorization: US Citizen

Role Summary

The Business Analyst/Project Coordinator supports IT project delivery within the PMO by facilitating requirements gathering, developing user stories, refining backlogs, and supporting Agile ceremonies. The role maintains project documentation, coordinates meetings, tracks milestones, and supports PMO governance activities such as risk and issue tracking.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support requirements gathering, user story development, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement
• Assist with Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives
• Support UAT planning, documentation, and coordination
• Maintain documentation in Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, or similar platforms
• Prepare schedules, agendas, status reports, and action logs
• Coordinate project meetings, capture notes, and follow up on action items
• Track milestones, timelines, and dependencies
• Support PMO governance (risk/issue tracking, routing documents for review/approval)
• Provide communication support through stakeholder updates and reporting inputs
• Perform general PMO support (data entry, record maintenance, logistics coordination)

Professional Experience

• Must have public trust clearance
• Minimum 5+ years administrative, coordination, or project support experience
• Experience supporting IT projects preferred
• Experience using SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Teams Planner, Planner Premium
• Ability to organize information, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate documentation

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree
• Preferred certifications: ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, PMIPBA, CSM, CSPO

Compensation: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
