Job Description

14685 - Business Analyst (Onsite) - Tallahassee, FL

Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.

Required:
  • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
  • Experience with business analysis;
  • Experience with requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation;
  • Experience with creating Visio process maps, requirements traceability matrices, and use cases;
  • Experience with creating and validating detailed functional specifications;
  • Experience with translating business requirements into technical specifications;
  • Experience with data migration rules, business rules, and wireframes delivery;
  • Experience with business process redesign and documentation;
  • Experience with research into application development issues and products;
  • Experience preparing reports, correspondence, guidelines, and Power Point presentations;
  • Experience working on multiple projects as a project team member, occasionally as a project leader.
  • Experience facilitating requirements negotiation amongst multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand business change needs, assessing the business impact of those changes, capturing, analyzing, and documenting requirements and supporting the communication and delivery of requirements with relevant stakeholders;
  • Lead requirements definitions meetings with customers;
  • Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding;
  • Gather, analyze, document, and validate user requirements;
  • Create Visio process maps, requirements traceability matrices, use cases, and other business analysis documentation appropriate to the specifically assigned project needs;
  • Facilitate the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders;
  • Create, analyze, and validate detailed functional specifications
