The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in Murex platforms (Front-to-Back or Back-to-Risk), solid financial product knowledge, and the ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions. The role includes gathering requirements, designing solutions, testing, and supporting Murex implementations or enhancements. The candidate should also demonstrate a solid understanding of IT best practices, principles, and methodologies for managing systems and services effectively.
Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering
Collaborate with traders, risk managers, operations, and other key stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for Murex.
Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions aligned with system capabilities.
Murex Configuration & Support
Configure and maintain Murex modules (e.g., FO, BO, MO, Risk, Collateral).
Troubleshoot system issues and provide L2/L3 support.
Liaise with vendors and internal IT teams to ensure smooth resolution of incidents.
Project Delivery
Support Murex implementation projects, upgrades, migrations, and regulatory initiatives.
Conduct system testing (SIT, UAT), prepare test cases, and coordinate with QA teams.
Ensure timely delivery of project milestones with proper documentation.
Stakeholder Communication
Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
Conduct user training and prepare support documentation.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related discipline
10+ years prior hands-on experience in Murex implementation (MX.3 preferred) or migration projects, specifically modules Trading, Risk, Collateral, Back Office, Accounting.
Knowledge of regulatory reporting (e.g., EMIR, MiFID II, Dodd-Frank).
Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud integration for Murex.
Good understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle and STP processes.
Understanding of financial products and terms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Excellent command of English, other languages an asset.
Swiss, EU citizen or holder of a valid work permit in Switzerland
