Who we are

Brivity VA, a brand of PLACE, is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst with advanced Power BI expertise to help transform data into actionable business insights. This role will be responsible for designing and maintaining dashboards, analyzing operational and financial performance, identifying trends, and providing recommendations that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.

The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with technical expertise, excels at communicating data-driven insights to stakeholders, and has experience working with complex datasets in a fast-paced environment.

What is expected of you

  • Business Intelligence & Reporting
    • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for executive leadership and operational teams.
    • Build and optimize data models, measures, and calculations using DAX.
    • Create automated reporting solutions that improve visibility into key business metrics and reduce manual reporting efforts.
    • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting platforms.
  • Business Analysis
    • Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
    • Analyze operational, sales, customer, and financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
    • Translate business questions into data-driven analyses and actionable recommendations.
    • Develop KPIs and performance scorecards aligned with organizational goals.
  • Data Management
    • Work with multiple data sources, including CRM systems, loan origination systems, databases, spreadsheets, and third-party platforms.
    • Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation activities.
    • Partner with technical teams to improve data architecture and reporting processes.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Present findings and recommendations to leadership teams and business stakeholders.
    • Train users on dashboard utilization and data interpretation.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Executive Leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and improve business processes.
    • Recommend solutions that leverage data and technology to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Stay current on Power BI features, data analytics trends, and business intelligence best practices.

What you need to possess

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX formulas and measures, power query, report and dashboard development, performance optimization.
  • Strong experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly recommendations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary: Up to Php 180,000 per month depending on skill/experience and technical expertise
