Business Analyst - Market Data & Entitlements (with French)

Warsaw | working from home up to 40% | Reference 7630

Would you like to dive into the fascinating world of market data? As part of a team of specialists you will help build and operate reliable market data and entitlement flows for French Products (Finalim, PGD, Europerf). You will analyze and specify requirements for pricing and reference content sourced from MDF Stream/MDF Select, IPS and some direct contributors. You will ensure this content is normalized, high quality, and distributed to all French Products and clients with the correct licensing and access controls. Working closely with product, engineering, operations, and QA, you’ll translate MDF and IPS specifications and market rules into clear, testable documentation that enables accurate data delivery. You will occupy a central position between two data models (Global and FR) that allow French products to fully benefit from the rich market data of the global model.

What You Will Do

  • Gather and document the functional and non-functional requirements of real-time and end-of-day price data feeds, as well as the repositories provided by MDF and IPS, to cover all the needs of French products (Finalim, PGD, Europerf). Define the standardization, enrichment, and validation rules.
  • Design and maintain entitlement models and content distribution rules for French products, ensuring compliance with provider licensing and contractual constraints.
  • Support onboarding and certification of new/changed feeds from MDF and IPS. Coordinate test scenarios, ensure their validation and non-regression across the entire system.
  • Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions with providers and internal teams.
  • Contribute to market data documentation & standards and process improvements across all delivery channels for French Products (MDF, IPS, Finalim, PGD, Europerf, and TDI for entitlement).

What You Bring

  • 2–5 years of business analysis experience in market data or financial information.
  • Strong understanding of market data concepts, normalization, and data quality controls.
  • Experience with market data providers and feeds. Knowledge of access rights frameworks and models, data distribution flows, and licensing obligations.
  • Ability to translate business rules into technical specifications and test cases; solid documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with SQL and Excel; familiarity with APIs and file-based delivery; comfortable collaborating with product, engineering, QA, and operations.
  • Exposure to agile methods (e.g., Jira/Azure DevOps) and quality assurance practices (UAT, regression).
  • Fluent English (B2/C1) & French (B2) are mandatory. Comfortable communicating in a global, cross functional environment.
