What this Job Entails:
ProjectWise Analyst/Administrator
We are seeking an experienced and highly technical ProjectWise Analyst/Administrator to manage, optimize, and scale our enterprise document management and engineering technology platforms. In this role, you will inherit and oversee a mature global ProjectWise (Cloud and On-Premises) and Egnyte environment.
The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in Bentley ProjectWise Architecture with strong PowerShell scripting capabilities to automate workflows, manage data migrations, and streamline system configuration. Additionally, you will serve as the primary technical point of contact for integrating and troubleshooting Autodesk environments (including AutoCAD and Autodesk Forma) to ensure seamless collaboration across multi-disciplined AEC project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- System Administration & Architecture: Lead the configuration, maintenance, security, and global user access management for ProjectWise (V8i, CONNECT Edition, and Cloud) and Egnyte platforms. Oversee system architecture, backend data structures, and cross-platform integrations.
- Automation & Scripting: Leverage PowerShell extensively to write queries, automate routine administrative tasks, manage bulk data migrations, and build custom workflow automations.
- Autodesk & AEC Tool Integration: Ensure robust integration between ProjectWise and Autodesk suites (AutoCAD, Autodesk Forma, Revit). Troubleshoot complex software configuration, network routing, and application-level issues for Autodesk products.
- Upgrades & Deployments: Plan and execute system upgrades, environment configurations, and the rollout of new software versions or cloud migrations.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide Tier 3 expert-level technical support for engineering, project management, and document control teams. Partner directly with Bentley and Autodesk technical support to resolve deep-seated system defects.
- Governance & Training: Establish compliance protocols, maintain rigorous access control documentation, and deliver comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and training to drive company-wide platform adoption.
