Responsibilities:

  • Gather system requirements from users and business owners, translating them into detailed requirements documentation, ensuring that business rules are clearly defined through workflow diagrams, business needs are documented and limitations or risks are understood

  • Assists in the creation, implementation and maintenance of a standardized requirements document

  • Assists with planning and implementing thorough and effective QA processes to ensure the highest quality testing of deliverables in the shortest possible time, including:

  • Develop and execute test plans – including automated testing, functional unit test, integration testing, field-testing, and regression testing

  • Create and document test cases that ensure that new systems perform as specified

  • Coordinate users and testers to participate as QA teams

  • Coordinate Defect/Issue tracking, prioritization and resolution

  • Communicate and interact with appropriate groups during testing in regards to significant issues, change requests and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and/or functionality

  • Works with architects to translate requirements into technical specifications.

  • Via the requirements gathering process, identifies and documents solution risks and potential constraints, solution methods, service level requirements, performance requirements, quality issues etc. to be used during scope evaluation phase

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business/systems analysis

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese/Cantonese

  • Demonstrated experience working with end users to gather and assess business needs and translate into technical specifications

  • Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks effectively

  • Extensive experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Visio and Microsoft Project, or other project management software.

  • Some experience with SQL language databases & business process mapping

  • Experience with gaming sources system/files (i.e. Casino Management Systems, Property Management, etc.).
