About the role:

As a Business Analyst for Investment Platforms, you'll be the functional bridge between Investment teams, Operations, and IT, ensuring our BlackRock Aladdin and eFront platforms operate efficiently while continuously evolving to meet business needs. You'll manage user requests, implement functional changes, and drive platform enhancements in a dynamic, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• User Support & Analysis Serve as the primary contact for investment platform users, solving complex challenges and developing sustainable solutions that enhance platform stability
• Change Implementation Drive the implementation of new functionalities from assessment through deployment, ensuring seamless integration that elevates our investment capabilities
• Platform Evolution Monitor platform roadmaps and guide the adoption of new features, keeping our systems aligned with evolving business needs and market requirements
• Process Optimization Identify and implement valuable automation opportunities that reduce manual work and improve efficiency across our investment platforms
• Stakeholder Management Connect diverse global teams, facilitating effective communication between Investment, Operations, Finance, and IT to ensure successful technology outcomes

About the team

We are a small, focused technology team, part of Group Digital & Technology (GDTO) serving the Asset Management domain within Swiss Re. The team is located in Bratislava, collaborating with business and IT teams in numerous locations worldwide including New York, London and Zurich.

We're looking for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and can translate complex business needs into effective technology solutions. Your analytical mindset and strong communication skills will help you succeed in this role that bridges technical and business domains.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

• Solid knowledge of the financial industry with understanding of investment operations, valuation, accounting, or portfolio management processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, solution-oriented mindset
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities with fluency in English
• Proven ability to manage multiple requests in a dynamic environment and take ownership of topics

These are additional nice to haves:

• Experience with investment management systems (e.g., Aladdin, eFront, or similar platforms)
• Background in asset management, public markets, or alternative investments
• Experience in business analysis or similar roles in financial technology
• Knowledge of system integration concepts, data flows and SQL

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 3,300 and EUR 5,400 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role
• the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus
