Business Analyst
This position works out of our Rungis, Paris office location in Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Division.
As the Business Analyst for the South Europe Affiliate which consists of France, Italy, Spain & Distributor markets. You will play a pivotal role in shaping data‑driven strategies and enabling smarter commercial decisions. You will report directly to the Commercial Excellence Manager for the region, with a dotted‑line reporting relationship to the Affiliate General Manager
This role requires close collaboration with Sales Managers, Key Account Managers, Marketing teams, and the Tender team to ensure that analytics, insights, and data systems effectively support operational and strategic priorities.
As part of ARDx, you will be at the forefront of Designing and managing scalable Business analytics environment. While transforming complex sales and market data into actionable insights that drive performance across South Europe

Core Job Responsibilities:
Data Management:
o Maintain the company's data to ensure scalability, efficiency, and data integrity.
o Define data standards, guidelines, and best practices to facilitate consistent data management across the organization.
o Collaborate with IT teams to implement data infrastructure solutions, including data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL processes.
Data Modeling and Integration:
o Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business requirements and analytical needs.
o Integrate data from diverse sources, including sales systems, CRM platforms, market research databases, and third-party sources.
Sales Data Analysis:
o Analyze sales performance metrics, market trends, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and risks.
o Generate actionable insights and recommendations to optimize sales strategies, pricing, and promotional efforts.
o Develop predictive models and forecasting algorithms to support sales forecasting and planning.
Reporting and Visualization:
o Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key performance indicators and business insights.
o Customize reports and analytics tools to meet the specific needs of sales teams, executives, and stakeholders.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
o Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and IT teams to understand business requirements and prioritize data initiatives.
o Serve as a subject matter expert on data-related projects and initiatives, providing guidance and expertise to stakeholders.

Minimum Experience/Training Required:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Proven experience in Power BI, data modelling and user-friendly dashboards and reports development.
• Proven experience in database management and data integration.
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical / medical devices sales processes, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
