The Selling Partner Trust and Store Integrity's (TSI) vision is that bad actors cannot operate in our store while selling partners start and grow their business without fear of disruption, such that customers and selling partners across the globe trust us, and have confidence in the integrity of Amazon's store.

Selling Partner Trust and Store Integrity's (TSI) mission is that we build trust by protecting customers, selling partners (SPs), and our store from bad actors and ensuring SP business continuity by:
- Proactively discouraging and preventing bad actors from operating in our store;
- Eliminating financial incentives from engaging in fraudulent and abusive behavior;
- Improving our speed and accuracy to identify and action bad actors, while ensuring we don't inadvertently disrupt SPs' business; and
- Building best-in-class experiences for SPs to sell in our store, understand and manage their business health, and remain compliant with Amazon's policies and external regulations.

Key job responsibilities
The CPT and Analytics (DEA) team is looking for a seasoned, highly analytical, and result-oriented Business Analyst who can independently own and drive end-to-end analytics initiatives. This role requires someone who can:

- Lead the analysis of complex business problems and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
- Design and implement scalable analytical frameworks and reporting solutions
- Influence business strategy by translating data into actionable insights and presenting recommendations to senior leadership
- Mentor and raise the technical bar of the globally distributed analytics team
- Drive cross-functional alignment by partnering with product, engineering, and science teams
- Provide deep data wrangling expertise and architect solutions for synthesizing very large, complex datasets
We utilize multiple externally and internally (AWS and other) developed cutting-edge data platforms, including real-time and near-real-time platforms, to help create signal out of mountains of data.

Our ideal analyst:

- Has a track record of independently owning ambiguous, high-impact analytical projects from scoping through delivery
- Enjoys discovering and solving complicated problems at scale
- Can quickly learn complex systems and identify systemic patterns
- Demonstrates strong judgment in prioritizing work and making trade-offs
- Takes pride in organizing, documenting, and communicating their work to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Has strong technical experience working with SQL, ETL pipelines, and tools like QuickSight/Tableau/Power BI
- Has experience working with Business Intelligence Engineers and Data Engineers to make sense of vast datasets
- Can influence without authority across teams and organizations

Basic Qualifications


- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

- Master's degree in business or analytical discipline
- 5+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
