The Master Data Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data within the Global Business Solutions (GBS) function. This position is responsible for managing, maintaining, monitoring, and controlling master data activities that support business operations across multiple global McCormick markets.
As a key part of the master data governance framework, the Master Data Analyst ensures that material master data, bills of materials (BOMs), recipe master data, customer master data, vendor master data, and pricing data are maintained with a high degree of accuracy while aligning with financial compliance standards, particularly material costing controls, pricing governance and best practices for data administration.
The primary objective of this role is to enable efficient and reliable data management processes that enhance operational effectiveness, decision-making, and regulatory compliance. By providing high-quality master data support, the Master Data Analyst ensures seamless integration across business functions, reducing errors and inefficiencies in supply chain, finance, sales & distribution, and procurement operations.

Training & Knowledge Sharing
Works with minimal direction to achieve goals and monitor progress using service level agreements and metrics.
Ensures data accuracy to prevent financial impacts, customer relations issues, and disruptions to management reporting.
Identifies and resolves inefficient data designs to avoid rework, financial loss, and system performance issues.
Maintains internal controls to mitigate audit risks and reduce company exposure to high-risk situations.
Uses judgment and analytical skills to assess complex data issues, especially when integrating new business opportunities into SAP.
Ensures data integrity, security, and consistency while identifying workflow impacts during process changes.
