Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team, focusing on implementing our ONESOURCE Global Trade Management (GTM) solution for clients. As a key member of our project implementation team, you will work closely with clients to understand their business processes and policies, and translate them into our solutions. Your primary goal will be to ensure seamless integration of our GTM product with clients' existing systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

In this opportunity as a Business Analyst, you will:

• Conducts business and requirements sessions with client stakeholders and formulates requirement definition documents for sign-off, serving as the input for finalizing the technical solution and test planning
• Acquires TR OneSource Global Trade Management (GTM) product knowledge and learns the related business operations and systems to consult with internal and external customers, providing recommendations to the project implementation team
• Works with clients to translate their business processes and policies into our solutions
• Engages with other key teams, such as Product Management & Engineering, within Thomson Reuters as appropriate to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Prepares and supports execution of test scripts and test cases as needed
• Provides training to end users and customer development staff on product functionality, aligned with business processes
• Completes tasks independently

Required Qualifications

You’re a fit for the role of Business Analyst if you have the following required qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree, with a strong preference for degrees in engineering or business
• Native Japanese and good English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people in different roles across an organization
• 7-10 years of experience in supply chain, trade compliance, global trade, customs, or tariffs; certifications from relevant professional institutions would be an added advantage
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, while also being able to work independently as needed
• Flexibility, adaptability, and strong commercial sense/business acumen

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of supply chain products
• Experience working with a customs provider or a professional services firm operating in the supply chain space
