About This Job
The Gigabit Business Framework is a new way of serving our customers with completely re-designed processes to provide "Gigabit Connectivity". We initiated a Digital Hub to foster new marketing and sales processes in order to win customers before rollout of the fibre infrastructure is carried out. This completely new business approach: allowing pre-sales activities, customer driven infrastructure rollout, real-time fulfillment in the case of connected homes and many more features are part of the product vision of so-called "Gigabit Business Framework (Gigabit Geschäftssystem)". We work internationally with 49 teams on the customer journeys and release all our product increments immediately into production environment. Our agile mindset enables us to start with minimal viable products and improve them according to customers & internal feedback incrementally.
Whom are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (BA) to join the GIGABIT project working in one of our agile scrum teams. The BA helps to translate and to detail the business requirements into development-ready user stories for his scrum team. Working in 14-day sprints. In addition, the BA co-ordinates interface agreements to other agile GIGABIT teams and applications outside of the hub. The official project communication and backlog description is done in English. Specific roles like Product Owners, Product Manager, Solution Engineers, Architects, etc. are mainly located in Germany.
All the responsibilities we will trust you with:
- Define and validate the business requirements on different levels (Initiatives, Epics, User Stories, etc)
- Focus on customer requirements, business value creation and securing that the backlog is understood and development ready from team's perspective
- Decompose business requirements into development ready User Stories with functional requirements focusing on the solution created on the Gigabit project
- Evaluate business models or requirements and integrate them into technology solutions as well as technological implementation opportunities (business/technology bridge)
- Independent detection and correction of process impediments
- Working in an environment and following the SAFe framework recommendations
- Participate in technical design, development and code reviews
- Be responsible for technical documentation, implementation and testing, quality code
- Understand business and technical objectives of a project and works closely with product owners, system designers, architects and DevOps team
- IT-Specifications for innovations/further development, adaptation of the IT-architecture and architectural roadmap.
- Analysis of non-functional operational problems and description of potential solution spaces
- Analysis of functional requirements with respect to non-functional challenges

- Professional experience in IT consulting with a focus on OSS (Operations Support System) and/or BSS (Business Support System) and extensive knowledge of the interfaces between OSS and BSS
- Distinct knowledge of OSS/BSS processes
- Knowledge of the telco market and telco based (standardized) telco processes
- Distinct knowledge of the Telecom IT System landscape and the mapping of business processes to the IT systems (OSS and BSS)
- Distinctive design competence and experience in the context of product and service design
- Experience in agile ways of working according to SAFe 5 and knowledge on rituals and methods (PIP, SCRUM, SAFe roles like (PO, PM SM, etc.)
- Understanding of the necessary software capabilities for continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) in agile software development
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken (Level B2-C1)
