Job Description

Cruise Administration Services, Inc. (CASI), a Carnival Cruise Line entity in the Philippines, is currently looking for a Business Analyst, Fleet Finance Support Ops. Only candidates located in Metro Manila, Philippines to apply.

The Business Analyst, Fleet Finance Support Ops plays an important role in supporting the shipboard finance teams with systems and processes, as well as maintaining programs utilized by the entire company. This position gathers and documents various system capabilities and implements software related projects in support of Fleet Finance functions. This role is the system administrator to multiple applications across cost, pay, and revenue that are utilized by the shipboard teams. Additionally, this team member will collaborate with departments across CCL to ensure the applications are able to support their operational needs. This position works with Financial Systems, Information Technology, business users and any other departments (i.e., Hotel Operations, Marine Operations, Technical Operations, Guest Logistics) as needed for support and implementation of new business practices.

Essential functions:

  • System Related Support: Provide insights and support to onboard Fleet Finance Team with various financial applications. Maintain and monitor various financial applications and related functionality used by the various onboard departments. (a) Assist in the immediate resolution of system issues onboard. (b) Review and analyze the system issues in order to request defect/maintenance cases to address the long-term resolution.
  • Reporting Support: Create and publish financial reporting, in coordination with the onboard teams. Assist both shipboard and shoreside Finance Personal with information needed for analytics. Develop, publish, and distribute user queries (including SOX requirements).
  • SME Financial Operations: Assist in development of new tools, reports, and analyses, collaboratively, as support to Finance business partners for financial planning, reporting and BI solutions. Collaborate with Financial Technology Team during testing process to ensure all requirements have been implemented as requested and to familiarize with the final product.
  • (a) Review, monitor, and facilitate releases impacting applications supporting financial activity that flow through Finance, Shipboard Operations. (b) Ensure all systems are performing efficiently, reporting issues and monitoring timely resolution.
  • Draft applicable manual for initiatives and/or system projects.

Qualifications:

  • With Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field of study; or any combination of relevant background, skills and experience.
  • Must have atleast 1 year of experience in finance, accounting, operations, or systems support.
  • Strong understanding of financial data analysis tools and systems such as Oracle Financials, Hyperion Essbase, Tableau, and OBIEE.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, including macros/VBA and interactive reporting tools.
  • Working knowledge of AI-powered tools and technologies (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, AI analytics platforms)
  • Must be amenable to work in 8pm to 5am Philippine time
