About the Role (your why)

The Business Analyst plays a crucial role in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management and acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure business requirements are clearly defined and met.

What you’ll do

• Gather and analyse business requirements by engaging and collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives.
• Develop artifacts such as Business Requirements Documents that outline the business objectives, scope, and business requirements focussing on the what and the why.
• Collecting, compiling metrics and data creating reporting, and completing analysis.
• Analysing data, workflows, or metrics to make recommendations for potential improvement.
• Present findings and recommendations to business as required.
• Coordinating testing to ensure the overall efficiency, functionality, and user-friendliness of system enhancement/development.
• Ensuring knowledge artifacts are appropriately completed.
• Assisting and collaborating with colleagues across disciplines to achieve shared goals.
• Supporting and promoting continuous improvement in analytical processes and practices

What you’ll bring

• Understanding of all aspects of the systems/software development lifecycle. Technical knowledge of programming, system design, IT infrastructure, and database concepts. An appreciation of both IT and business strategy.
• Developing knowledge of business process re-engineering.
• 3+ years’ experience in a relevant role.
• Proven experience with analysis and automation languages, practices, and toolsets.
• Previous Business Analyst experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work on moderately difficult assignments, requiring self-directed research, judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
• Ability to assimilate business context and priorities effectively to build subject matter expertise.
• Assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
• Ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders and team members within their area of expertise.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Sound communication skills, both written and verbal. Sound technical ability, with the skills to pick up proficiency in new systems and technology quickly
