Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
- Experience working with enterprise business applications (Finance systems, billing systems, data platforms, etc.)
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies (requirements gathering, process modeling, functional documentation)
- Practical experience performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in enterprise environments
- Familiarity with common accounting and financial terminology.
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate business needs into structured requirements and test scenarios
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the insurance, and financial services, or regulated industries
- Exposure to finance platforms
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery models
- Experience with testing tools
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for Finance and Accounting applications
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, IT, and vendors to define system enhancements and process improvements
- Support system integrations between finance platforms, operational systems, and data platforms
- Participate in solution design reviews to ensure business alignment and regulatory compliance
- Assist with process mapping, documentation, and optimization initiatives
- Own and manage the UAT lifecycle for application changes and releases
- Design UAT strategies, test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria
- Coordinate UAT execution with business users and stakeholders
- Validate system changes against business requirements and real-world scenarios
- Track defects, manage issue resolution, and support re-testing activities
- Provide formal UAT sign-off and readiness recommendations for production releases
