Within this transformation, the IT department plays a crucial role as a strategic partner to the business. Working closely with Finance, operational stakeholders, and technology teams, IT helps drive continuous improvement by translating business challenges into sustainable, scalable solutions that support Mammoet's long-term objectives. As a SAP Finance Business Analyst, you are the primary link between Mammoet's Finance organization and the SAP Finance landscape. You play a key role in ensuring that our financial processes are effectively supported by SAP and continuously improved to support our global One Way of Working and business transformation initiatives. Your main focus will be on financial process improvements and the delivery and support of new functionality within Vendor Invoice Management, E-Invoicing, and Treasury configuration, complemented by ongoing standard FI/CO process support. In addition to your SAP Finance responsibilities, experience with financial reporting and analytics solutions such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Group Reporting is considered a strong advantage. You will work in an agile and continuously evolving environment where collaboration, ownership, and adaptability are essential. Together with business stakeholders, developers, vendors, and other streams, you will drive initiatives that improve financial processes, increase standardization, and maximize the value of our technology investments. Success in this role requires a combination of finance and accounting knowledge, SAP configuration experience, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING SAP Finance Process Ownership Act as the functional expert for SAP Finance solutions and processes. Support and continuously improve SAP FI/CO functionality and related business processes. Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and solution designs. Ensure Finance processes are standardized, scalable, and aligned with global business objectives. Drive process improvements and identify opportunities for automation and simplification. Finance Process Improvement Support and optimize end-to-end Finance processes, including: Consolidation and Reporting Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Financial Closing Process Payment Process Credit Control Facilitate workshops with Finance stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities. Support testing, deployment, user training, and change adoption activities. Business Transformation Contribute to Finance transformation initiatives and SAP-related projects. Help establish and maintain a global One Way of Working for Finance processes. Collaborate with Finance, IT, and external partners to successfully deliver business improvements. Support both Agile and traditional project delivery approaches. Reporting & Analytics (Preferred) Support Finance reporting and analytics initiatives. Collaborate with reporting teams to improve management information and business insights. Contribute to reporting solutions based on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Group Reporting when applicable. . WHAT YOU’LL NEED Expertise: You are recognized as a trusted SAP Finance expert with a strong understanding of both business processes and technology. You are able to connect Finance requirements with SAP capabilities, translating complex business needs into practical and sustainable solutions. Through your expertise in SAP FI/CO, you help drive standardization, process optimization, and continuous improvement across the organization while supporting a global way of working. Skills: You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels of the business. You can effectively gather, challenge, and translate requirements into functional designs and system specifications. Your communication skills enable you to bridge the gap between Finance and IT, ensuring that solutions are aligned with business objectives while remaining technically feasible. You thrive in collaborative environments and contribute actively to agile teams and transformation initiatives. Experience: You bring proven experience in a SAP Finance-focused role, such as Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, Application Specialist, or Process Analyst. Throughout your career, you have gained extensive hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO and have worked within complex, international business environments. You understand end-to-end Finance processes and have successfully supported projects involving process improvements, system enhancements, and organizational transformation. Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, or SAP Group Reporting is considered a strong advantage and enables you to contribute effectively to modern Finance and reporting landscapes. Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
