Business Analyst

At Euroclear, an IT Business Analyst will be part of an Agile team based in Paris, Brussels and Poland, whose mission is to provide IT solutions and to support the services of the ESES Settlement and Issuer services Tribe.

The ESES Tribe is organized and structured so that the business and IT colleagues work closely and collaboratively in alignment with the agile values and principles. The team will work iteratively, delivering pieces in smaller time frames than in the traditional waterfall methodology, that build on each other.

Candidates for this role must have experience working as a Business Analyst on IT projects and who has worked closely with the business to deliver IT change.

Your Mission :

• Act as the interface between business and the IT teams.
• Clearly demonstrate an understanding of the business drivers behind operational, functional, tactical or strategic initiatives/changes and the value they will bring.
• Provide counsel to the business and negotiate / propose options for viable business solutions that are acceptable.
• Facilitate the implementation and deployment of system changes for business stakeholders by providing the business with support, advice and guidance throughout the change process.
• Validate the scenarios needed to test the system.
• Support execution of the various phases of testing.
• Support user and client acceptance testing.

Skills:

• Experience of working within a regulated environment is highly desirable
• An interest in securities, market standards i.e. ISO (ISO15022, ISO20022)
• Have successfully delivered projects utilizing methodologies such as Waterfall, V-Model, SCRUM, SAFE
• You are able to confidently manage all levels stakeholders, irrespective of their position or interest
• Experience of Modelling – Use Cases, Story Mapping, Process Modelling, Data Modelling (conceptual/logical)
• Requirements – Business, Functional / Non-Functional, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria
• Organizational skills and capacity to work autonomously
• Fluent in English
