About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with a strong background in digital transformation and a deep understanding of asset-heavy industries such as oil & gas, manufacturing, or utilities. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who excels in analyzing business needs, managing stakeholders, and driving digital initiatives through agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed business analysis to identify opportunities for digital transformation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineering, operations, and business units.
- Gather and document business requirements, user stories, and process flows.
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support sprint planning and backlog grooming.
- Ensure strategic alignment of business analysis activities with organizational goals.
- Evaluate and recommend AI-enabled solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Perform market research and competitive analysis to inform business strategies.
- Support change management and training initiatives related to new digital solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or Business.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years in the digital industry.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis.
- 3+ years of experience in asset-heavy industries (e.g., oil & gas, utilities, manufacturing).
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Expertise in business analysis and translating insights into actionable requirements.
- Ability to ensure strategic alignment across teams and initiatives.
- Exposure to AI-enabled solutions and data-driven decision making.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a high degree of autonomy.
