Job Description

ARHS Group, part of Accenture, is looking for a Business Analyst – Debt & Equity to join one of our client teams onsite in Luxembourg within a European institutional environment.

We are looking for financial-sector professionals for two distinct areas of expertise: Debt and Equity. Depending on your background, you will support business and operational activities related either to lending and debt products or to private equity, venture capital, and alternative investments.

In both directions, you will work closely with business users and stakeholders on business processes, operational activities, transformation initiatives, and the implementation and adoption of new solutions.

THE WORK:

  • Analyse business and operational processes and translate business needs into clear requirements.
  • Work closely with business users, external stakeholders, and technical teams throughout transformation and digitalisation initiatives.
  • Support the operational implementation of new financial products and related processes and controls.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including preparation and execution of test scenarios and validation against business requirements.
  • Support user onboarding, rollout, and adoption activities.
  • Contribute to portfolio monitoring, reporting, and operational processes.
  • Investigate data quality issues, reporting inconsistencies, and operational exceptions.
  • Contribute to business process improvement and change management activities.

Two areas of expertise:

Debt: Experience within lending institutions such as banks, debt funds, microfinance institutions, or similar financial intermediaries. Exposure to guarantee products, lending portfolios, portfolio monitoring, operational or regulatory reporting, and related processes is particularly relevant.

Equity: Experience within private equity, venture capital, alternative investment funds, fund-of-funds, or similar investment structures. Exposure to equity portfolio monitoring, investor reporting, and the operational implementation of funds or investment products is particularly relevant.

Onsite at client site: This role requires an onsite presence with our clients and partners to support project delivery and strengthen collaboration.

Our roles require in-person time to encourage collaboration, learning, and relationship-building with clients, colleagues, and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Law, or a related field.
  • Professional experience in the financial sector, with a background relevant to either Debt or Equity.
  • Experience in business support, business analysis, operational monitoring, business process management, change management, or related functions.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders, end-users, and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with UAT, including test scenarios and validation of delivered functionalities.
  • Good understanding of financial products, portfolio management, reporting, and related operational processes.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Experience with the operational implementation of new financial products.
  • Experience with change, digitalisation, or process modernization initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Experience in operational portfolio management, middle-office activities, or reporting processes.
  • Experience working in international and multicultural environments.
  • Knowledge of another European language; Italian is particularly valuable for some Debt-related activities.

As part of our security and compliance procedures, candidates will be required to undergo a criminal background check prior to employment.
