Job Summary

The Business Analyst at HCL is responsible for data analysis, business analysis, and Agile methodology. The primary focus of this role is to analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, gather and document requirements, and facilitate communication between stakeholders and the development team to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
2. Perform business analysis to understand current processes, gather requirements, and recommend solutions for process improvements.
3. Work closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes and information systems.
4. Utilize agile methodology to plan, prioritize, and deliver features in a timely manner.
5. Collaborate within team to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
6. Create detailed documentation including user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
7. Participate in meetings, workshops, and presentations to share findings and gather feedback.
8. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively address issues to ensure project success.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets.
2. Proficiency in business analysis techniques such as swot analysis, pestle analysis, and requirements elicitation.
3. Experience with agile methodology and tools like jira or trello.
4. Good communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
5. Problem-solving abilities to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
6. Detail oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
7. Advanced proficiency in microsoft excel and powerpoint for data visualization and reporting.

Other Requirements

1.Certification in Business Analysis or Agile methodology is a plus.
