MAIN PURPOSE

We are looking for Business Analyst Controller that will support overall Brands in Thailand in all financial aspects including appropriate analysis for each brand, supporting to analyse monthly reports, Budget and adhoc finance-related needs. He/ (She) will also help to challenge key business decisions using relevant reporting & analysis and presenting data in a commercial way in order to optimize efficiency of activities and costs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Thailand key contact for Each Brand on business activities:

  • Working with Thailand managers to define appropriate analysis to be set-up for Thailand, in

coordination with regional finance controller or HQ requirements

  • Share actual and budget activities with all stakeholders (regional Team / Local)
  • Guide and support the regional and local teams on the business analysis (local reports, specific

HQ reports…)

  • Provide recommendations and actions steps from analysis to help drive process, ROI and efficiency

in L Beauty work.

Within that scope,

Actuals

  • Work closely with regional, local, & HQ teams and develop excellent knowledge of Thailand market

operating environments

  • Analyze the overall delivery of company financial targets on a regular basis and report back to the

business with recommendations as necessary

  • Evaluate profitability by brand
  • Analyze the profitability by customer and by channels in accordance with brand management needs
  • Analyze the business risk and preparation of back-up plan for business target achievement
  • Check and analyze monthly P&Ls, and prepare the monthly consolidated package
  • Handle local reports requested by the regional and HQ teams

Forecasts (Budget, Revision, Landing, …)

  • Support the brand in preparing budget template and revisions in accordance with HQ / Regional

requirements and timetable

  • Maintain cost control responsibility; provide relevant reports and rationale, with recommended

action plans to the business for tight budget control

  • Supporting 3-5 years business plan by Brand

Ad hoc Analysis & Business KPI Reporting

  • Prepare/review the investments requests
  • Drive and prepare business analysis to support the various business functions (Marketing, Retail..) in terms of ROI relations
  • Provide analytical support to cross-function initiatives and ad hoc projects, such as Boutique performance analysis, Investments ROI, channel analysis etc.

Projects

  • Continually seek to improve processing efficiency and controlling capabilities of the company
  • Participate in the implementation of finance / IT projects for the controlling functions
  • Reinforce internal control requirements and implement procedures as necessary
  • Be a key contact person with Brand Regional Controller & Thailand to own and drive agreed projects in Thailand

Requirements

Key competencies:

  • Good communication skills both Thai and English
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work under pressure and commitment to deadlines
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible to changing environment and business needs
  • High level of persuading and influencing skills

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Knowledge of financial system (SAP, SyRUS, Orion)
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Strong Accounting and controlling background
  • Proficiency in oral and written English

Profile:

  • Business Administration degree or Accounting major/Business school
  • Strong experience in a financial position within an international group
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of controlling experience. Strong knowledge of accounting needed.
  • Experience in the beauty industry and understanding of its product life cycles would be a +
  • Ability to analyze, compare and interpret facts quickly
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
  • Autonomous & self-motivated § Pro-active & dynamic
  • Team player
