Role Overview

The Business Analyst will lead and support business analysis activities across initiatives by connecting project threads, identifying risks and issues, and tracking progress. This role works closely with business and project stakeholders to understand strategy, define requirements, and ensure successful delivery of outcomes aligned to business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Lead regular status meetings to connect project threads, uncover potential risks and issues, and track progress.
• 
  Understand business strategy and objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats.
• 
  Participate in product and feature evaluations and create formal business cases as required.
• 
  Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements to meet identified business needs.
• 
  Apply business analysis professional standards, methodologies, workflows, and leading practices.
• 
  Direct and monitor business analysis activities to ensure traceability and optimal coverage of business requirements, including change request backlogs.
• 
  Manage project progress by tracking activities, resolving issues, and recommending corrective actions.
• 
  Provide senior management and project management teams with regular updates on deliverables, timelines, and project status.
• 
  Respond proactively to business and project issues and escalate appropriately when required.
• 
  Contribute to knowledge-sharing and team collaboration platforms.
• 
  Share best practices internally and externally.

Qualifications

• 
  Minimum of 5 years of business analysis experience in a fast‑paced or large, global environment.
• 
  Strong communication skills with demonstrated executive presence.
• 
  Excellent writing and editing skills, with confident presentation abilities.
• 
  Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.
• 
  Strong research and analytical capabilities, with confidence in providing insights and recommendations.
• 
  Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create high‑quality, impactful deliverables.
• 
  Fundamental understanding of Microsoft 365 administration.
• 
  Solid foundational skills in SharePoint Online, Microsoft Copilot, and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
• 
  Fundamental knowledge of Generative AI technologies, including agents.
• 
  Energetic, enthusiastic, flexible, persuasive, and proactive, with strong influencing skills.
• 
  Demonstrated experience working with cross‑cultural teams and the ability to adapt approaches as needed.
• 
  Ability to maintain composure in a fast‑paced, high‑volume, and deadline‑driven environment with a practical and pragmatic approach to delivery.
• 
  Strong understanding of business challenges to drive change and innovation and improve client experience.
• 
  Ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed and complex organization.
• 
  Bachelor’s degree in arts, science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
• 
  Advanced degree and relevant professional services training are preferred.
• 
  IIBA certification is considered an asset but is not required.
