About the Role

Lead analysis to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities within insurance operations and policy servicing that support better business decisions.

Work closely with teams across the business to ensure analysis meets needs and drives shared goals.

Promote effective tools and methods to enhance the quality and impact of business analysis.

Position Objective:

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute business analysis tasks across projects, including requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, and data analysis, within insurance operations and policy servicing environments
  • Work with stakeholders across insurance operations to understand business challenges and translate policy servicing needsinto clear, actionable requirements for technology enhancements or process improvements.
  • Provide insights and recommendations that support policy servicing performance, operational efficiency, customer experience, and regulatory compliance, contributing to strategic planning, transformation programs, and operational improvements.
  • Act as a bridge between insurance business units, policy servicing teams, technology teams, and external partnersto ensure alignment and shared understanding of goals, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Apply best practices in documentation, analysis, and reporting to ensure consistent and high‑quality outputs across insurance operations and policy servicing initiatives.
  • Track the performance of implemented solutions and provide feedback to improve future initiatives, with a focus on enhancing policy lifecycle processes such as issuance, endorsements, renewals, and servicing quality.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g. CBAP, PMI‑PBA) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in business analysis, with a strong track record of supporting strategic initiatives and cross‑functional projects. Experience in transformation, technology, or operational environmentsis preferred.
  • Experience in Insurance Operations, with a strong focus on Policy Servicing, including exposure to policy lifecycle processes such as issuance, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and customer servicing.
  • Good understanding of insurance products, policy servicing workflows, and operational KPIs, with the ability to apply this knowledge in analysis and solution design.
  • Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into clear, actionable business recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and present complex information in a clear and structured manner.
  • Familiarity with business analysis tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, Excel) and methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, Lean).
  • Proven ability to approach problems strategically, assess options, and drive effective, pragmatic solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across teams, build consensus, and influence outcomes without direct authority.
