Mission Overview:

This is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as a Business Analyst within the Transformation Office. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be hired to work on client projects, bringing your expertise and our values to every engagement.

Mission Context:

The client’s Risk & Credits tribe maintains rating applications used to determine expected loss and risk weighted assets. These applications assess the probability of default for all counterparties and clients, as well as exposure at default and loss given default for every position resulting in credit risk. A major review of the rating processes is underway, impacting risk models and resulting risk measures. To expedite this transformation, additional consultants will join the team. The changes will affect the rating process, estimated expected loss, risk weighted assets, loan loss reserves, regulatory capital, and users of the rating systems such as relationship managers and risk officers.

Responsibilities:

• Translate requirements from the group level to the local entity.
• Collaborate with the risk modelling team.
• Integrate model changes into the rating systems.
• Ensure alignment with changes in the risk modelling process.
• Assess the impact of changes on systems, organization, expected loss, risk weighted assets, loan loss reserves, pricing, and reporting.
• Communicate impacts to relationship managers, risk officers, tribe management, and group management.
• Operate within a risk squad, demonstrating the ability to quickly acquire process, architecture, and system knowledge.

Language Requirements:

• Dutch: Fluent/good in speaking & understanding, basic/good in writing (required at least for either Dutch or French).
• French: Fluent/good in speaking & understanding, basic/good in writing (required at least for either Dutch or French).
• English: Fluent in writing, good in speaking & understanding.

Education:

• Graduate or college (university) degree preferred.
• Strong math skills, with a focus on mathematics in education or professional experience.
• Ability to communicate with risk modelers (data scientists developing complex statistical models).
• Understanding of complex IT architectures, including integration via online (API) and batch interfaces.

Work Model:

• Expectation: 50% on site, 50% homeworking.

Required Experience / Knowledge:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience.

Technical Experience:

• Mandatory: Experience with SQL, functional/technical analysis skills, medium to expert knowledge of standard MS tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), and testing capabilities.
• Preferable: Notions of programming (able to discuss code with developers), experience with large databases.

Business Experience:

• Mandatory: Experience with credits, supporting a development squad in an agile environment, working in a large company/complex business environment, 2 to 3 years as a business analyst or in functional analysis, experience in large scale IT development, expertise in data analysis, requirements documentation, and testing.
• Preferable: Credit risk knowledge, experience with implementation and deployment of risk models, experience with EU regulation on credit or credit risk (MCD, Basel III, etc.), economics and/or mathematics background, knowledge of the client’s environment (business and/or IT).
