Job Description

IQVIA is looking for a driven and analytically rigorous Business Analyst to join our Commercial Effectiveness Services (CES) team, based in Algiers You will play a central role in the design and delivery of data-driven commercial solutions for pharmaceutical and life sciences clients across North, East, and West Africa.

What You'll Work On

• Customer targeting and segmentation (HCP and pharmacy)
• Sales force structuring, sizing, and territory alignment
• Incentive and target-setting modeling
• Performance dashboarding and KPI tracking
• Market and competitive analysis to support client decision-making

Main Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and structure large datasets from multiple sources to build analysis-ready models
• Conduct end-to-end quantitative analysis — from raw data processing through to synthesis, interpretation, and business recommendations
• Build and maintain Excel models, Power BI dashboards, and structured PowerPoint deliverables for client presentations
• Contribute to the delivery of multiple simultaneous client engagements across the Africa region
• Support project proposals and client interactions under senior supervision

Required Profile

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills — comfortable with ambiguity and able to translate data into actionable insights
• Solid command of Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, modeling) and PowerPoint
• Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Proficiency in English (French and/or Arabic are strong assets for the Africa region)
• 0–3 years of experience in consulting, analytics, or a pharmaceutical/healthcare environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with Power BI or equivalent BI tools
• SQL skills
• Exposure to pharmaceutical commercial data (IMS/IQVIA syndicated data, CRM outputs)
