
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Analyst to join the EMEA Wholesale Operations Change team, playing a critical role in supporting the change and product agenda across Commercial Banking businesses, with a focus on Lending and Channel Finance (e.g. trade loans, working capital, supply chain finance).
The Business Analyst will be responsible for analysing, defining, and documenting business requirements to support operational transformation, product enhancements, and regulatory/compliance initiatives within Commercial Banking.
You will join a collaborative and inclusive team where strong cross-functional partnership is essential to delivering outcomes. The team works closely with stakeholders across Front Office, Operations, Technology, and Risk/Compliance to deliver well-governed change aligned to strategic priorities.
This role requires a strong control mindset to ensure all solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with the bank’s risk and regulatory framework.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the change agenda within EMEA Commercial Banking, contributing to high-impact initiatives across Lending and Channel Finance while working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment.
In this role, you will:
Analyse and define business requirements across lending lifecycle and channel finance processes.
Design and document requirements (BRD, process flows, use cases, data mappings).
Perform impact assessments across Operations, Credit/Risk, and Technology platforms.
Support project delivery (scope, milestones, dependencies, timelines).
Manage RAID (risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies).
Support system enhancements including UAT and implementation.
Track requirements and delivery in JIRA/Confluence.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Front Office, Risk, and Operations.
Support governance forums with analysis and updates.
Required Qualifications:
Strong Business Analysis experience in financial services, preferably in Commercial Banking or Lending Operations.
Understanding of lending lifecycle (origination, underwriting, servicing).
Experience in Channel Finance / Supply Chain Finance (preferred).
Experience in operational change and transformation initiatives.
Ability to translate regulatory and business requirements into clear, structured documentation.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across functions.
High attention to detail with a strong risk and control mindset.
Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery environments and associated tooling (JIRA/Confluence).
Experience of LoanIQ is essential.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Channel Finance or Supply Chain Finance products.
Professional Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, BCS, or equivalent).
