Business Analyst, Associate

The Associate Business Analyst works with stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into clear requirements, and support the delivery of high-quality solutions. Working closely with product, engineering, quality assurance, and support teams, the role contributes to process analysis, documentation, solution validation, and continuous improvement across the solution lifecycle.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
· Work with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and user requirements.
· Translate requirements into functional specifications, process flows, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
· Support solution design by working with product, engineering, and quality assurance teams to identify impacts, dependencies, and risks.
· Produce and maintain documentation such as requirements, specifications, data mappings, test scenarios, and release notes.
· Plan and carry out functional testing and support user acceptance testing to confirm that delivered solutions meet business needs.
· Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and demonstrations to align stakeholders and confirm understanding.
· Investigate post-release issues, analyse root causes, and recommend improvements to processes and solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
· Experience in business or systems analysis, including requirements gathering, documentation, and validation.
· Experience producing clear documentation such as requirements, user stories, specifications, test cases, and process documentation.
· Understanding of process modelling, solution design collaboration, and support for testing or user acceptance testing activities.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Ability to learn new business domains, manage multiple priorities, and contribute effectively in a customer-focused environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with data analysis and data mapping; working knowledge of SQL is preferred.
· Experience supporting software implementations, upgrades, or business process transformation initiatives.
· Familiarity with enterprise systems and configuration or customisation concepts.
· Exposure to Agile delivery practices, user story development, and cross-functional product teams.
