In this high visibility role, supporting Baxter’s US business units, you’ll help drive the team’s mission to deliver analytics and insights that drive results and improve business decision making for our internal and external customers. You’ll build, maintain, and enhance key internal performance dashboards to drive commercial excellence for sales and marketing teams.
Our Commercial Analytics and Insights team is all about delivering the right insight, to the right team at the right time. As data continues to play an integral role in all our decision making, the Analytics & Insights team is working tirelessly to make big data easy to consume.
What you'll be doing:
Building, maintaining and enhancing dashboards that translate business needs into actionable reporting and insights for sales, marketing and leadership teams.
Creating and managing data flows that bring together multiple data sources, ensuring outputs are accurate, consistent and easy to use for business decision making.
Supporting Sales and Marketing teams with performance reporting, customer targeting, market intelligence, sales manager tools and other analytics solutions that improve visibility to key business drivers.
Partnering cross-functionally with teams across Baxter to understand reporting needs, clarify requirements, align on priorities and deliver analytics solutions that support business objectives.
Developing content that increases visibility to data, analytics and insights, helping stakeholders understand trends, identify opportunities and make decisions that drive business results.
Creating materials, presentations, dashboards, scorecards and measurement frameworks for internal audiences to communicate performance, validate key metrics and track progress against strategic priorities.
Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes, automate recurring work and strengthen the quality, accessibility and impact of analytics deliverables.
What you'll bring:
Ability to write basic to intermediate SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
Experience building, enhancing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and data visualizations in Tableau.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business questions into clear, actionable insights and reporting solutions.
Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively across teams, functions, and levels of the organization.
Self-motivated learner who proactively builds new skills.
Working knowledge of analytics and productivity tools such as Tableau, Snowflake, Alteryx, SQL, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, analytics, information systems, data science, or a related field.
Minimum of 1+ years of analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or related experience preferred.
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $64 000 - $88 000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
