Position Summary: The Business Analyst supports Product, Operations, Engineering, and Quality Engineering in the analysis, documentation, refinement, and delivery of business requirements for the CHIPS application, a critical system for global payments. This role develops and applies working knowledge of CHIPS business processes, payment flows, application functionality, system interfaces, and operational workflows. The Business Analyst works with Product and business stakeholders to ensure requirements and acceptance criteria are clear, complete, testable, and traceable and partners with Engineering and Quality Engineering to identify application impacts, dependencies, and potential requirement gaps throughout the software development lifecycle.
This role combines business analysis, payments knowledge, and technical aptitude and offers an opportunity to build valuable expertise in financial technology and payment processing. The Business Analyst is expected to develop and grow functional and application knowledge of critical payment systems, use that knowledge to analyze business requests and potential impacts, and build a strong foundation for continued career growth in business and systems analysis.
Physical Demands and Work Environment: The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Travel may be required. Candidates will report to the office three days each week. Onsite work requirements may change at any time.
For New York based candidates, the anticipated annual salary range for this position is up to $120,000. Base salary will be determined by the role, experience, skill set and location. For eligible positions, discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded contingent on personal and company performance.
