Summary:

The candidate should have minimum 4 years of experience in Business Requirements Analysis in Banking domain. As a Business Analyst, your day involves examining the structure and operations of an organization to understand how its processes and systems function together. You will evaluate the existing business model and its alignment with technological solutions, carefully studying the current environment to identify the needs of customers. Your role includes envisioning the desired future state or business solution by gathering and synthesizing relevant information from various sources. This position requires a thoughtful approach to analyzing complex organizational dynamics and designing improvements that support strategic goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and clarify business requirements.
• Document and communicate findings and recommendations effectively to diverse audiences.
• Support the development and implementation of business process improvements.
• Assist junior team members in understanding project objectives and methodologies.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: The candidate should have minimum 4 years of experience in Business Requirements Analysis in Banking domain. hands-on experience in SQL, data profiling, data validation, reconciliation, and data analysis.
• Strong capability in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
• Experience in mapping business processes and identifying areas for enhancement.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear and actionable specifications.
• Familiarity with tools and techniques for requirements management and process modeling.

Experienced Technology Business Analyst with a background in finance (awareness of typical banking book products (e.g loans, mortgages, customer deposits) and markets products e.g bonds, interest rate swaps & the attributes/characteristics of these products)

Experience working under agile ways of working & creating features & stories for development teams to progress with development. Experience working under Scaled Agile would be preferred.

Motivated to bring clarity in ambiguous situations, driven individual who can take ownership & ask probing questions to ensure they understand the requirements clearly.

Technical understanding of data sourcing, data transformation & reporting methodologies & demonstratable experience in these activities in previous roles.

Awareness of BCBS239 principles would be advantageous
