The Opportunity

Lead the definition and prioritization of the Product Backlog for business requirements, in partnership with the Product Owner. Support the identification, resolution, or escalation of impediments that may affect sprint delivery or prevent the team from achieving the sprint objective. Define, coordinate, and monitor Scrum team activities within the Sprint Backlog. Work with the Scrum team to define sprint duration and organize day-to-day activities accordingly.

Analyze, track, and control sprint progress through Burndown reporting and related performance indicators. For acquired solutions, provide functional support to developers, testers, architects, and other Scrum team members to ensure effective solution delivery. Monitor and ensure the proper implementation of developed components, confirming alignment with established standards and quality expectations. When direct control over the solution implementation is limited, support project teams by facilitating formal feedback on software development improvement opportunities and tracking contractor deliverables.

The Role

• Serve as the primary point of contact for users during the implementation of business initiatives that require systems and technology support.
• Analyze business requirements and provide guidance to identify the solution that delivers the greatest business value, whether through existing applications, application enhancements, or new tools and platforms.
• Document application requirements according to the established methodology and standards.
• Partner with users to prioritize requirements, define the Product Backlog, and agree on delivery timelines.
• Assess the feasibility of business initiatives from a functional and technology perspective.
• Measure the adoption, utilization, and effectiveness of implemented solutions.
• Support the User Acceptance Testing process and facilitate issue resolution as needed.
• Manage the implementation of software changes through completion, ensuring user satisfaction and business alignment.
• Evaluate vendor and product alternatives for business system solutions and recommend the option that best supports the company’s objectives.
• Prepare, maintain, and monitor project work plans in coordination with the Product Owner, following up until agreed services are delivered to users.
• Identify risks related to software project planning and execution, define mitigation actions, monitor progress, and coordinate with the responsible areas.
• Maintain control over the registration, tracking, and management of incidents that arise during software projects.
• Keep the Scrum team focused on the business-approved project scope.
• Report progress on assigned activities to the project team and facilitate daily sprint meetings with the Scrum Team at the agreed time.
• Manage system solution acquisition processes in accordance with the established methodology.
• Integrate vendor resources into the project and monitor compliance with contractual commitments.
• Facilitate sprint planning, demonstrations, feedback sessions, and retrospectives at the end of each sprint.
• Document lessons learned and implement improvement actions based on those lessons.

The Requirements

• Education and Experience:
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Business Consultant, Systems Analyst, Scrum Master, or in a similar role.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
• General understanding of process management, application development, infrastructure, quality management, and project management.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English preferred.
• Working knowledge of project management methodologies, including:
• Project management fundamentals.
• UML, use case specifications, flowcharts, and process diagrams.
• Agile project management practices aligned with Scrum Alliance principles.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Visio, Diagrams.net, and Bizagi.
• General knowledge of UML, design patterns, and software development patterns.
