Job Summary

As a Business Analyst, you are responsible for supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of the procurement system, with a strong focus on Source-to-Pay (S2P), vendor management, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.

Job Description

We are looking for a Business Analyst who work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and IT product delivery teams to understand business needs, solicit and analyze requirements, and translate them into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and a prioritized product backlog. This position will be full-time and hybrid in Mandaluyong City.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as Senior Business Analyst for the procurement system, supporting Source-to-Pay, vendor management, and Procure-to-Pay business processes
  • Work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and IT product delivery teams to define, validate, and prioritize business needs
  • Plan and facilitate requirements elicitation sessions, workshops, interviews, walkthroughs, and process discussions with business and technical stakeholders
  • Analyze current and future-state procurement processes and identify business rules, gaps, dependencies, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Translate business requirements into clear, testable user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, functional specifications, and backlog items
  • Support product owners in defining, refining, prioritizing, and maintaining the product backlog in alignment with business value, delivery capacity, and release objectives
  • Collaborate with solution architects, developers, QA, release managers, and vendors to ensure requirements are understood and delivered as intended
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily coordination, sprint reviews, retrospectives, defect triage, and release readiness activities
  • Support user acceptance testing by preparing test scenarios, validating test results, clarifying expected behavior, and coordinating issue resolution with delivery teams
  • Maintain requirements traceability from business need through user stories, solution delivery, testing, deployment, and post-release validation
  • Prepare and maintain business analysis deliverables, including requirements documentation, user stories, process maps, decision logs, issue logs, and stakeholder updates
  • Provide functional input during design reviews, demonstrations, change impact assessments, training preparation, go-live, hypercare, and post-release stabilization
  • Identify delivery risks, requirement ambiguities, and stakeholder alignment issues, and work with the product owner and delivery team to resolve them in a timely manner

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting or related discipline
  • At least 8–10 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst in major enterprise system implementation, modernization, or product delivery projects
  • Strong knowledge of procurement business processes, including Source-to-Pay, Procure-to-Pay, sourcing, supplier/vendor management, contracts, requisitions, purchase orders, receiving, invoicing, and payment-related processes
  • Experience with procurement, Source-to-Pay, Procure-to-Pay, vendor management, or ERP platforms such as Ivalua, Coupa, SAP, Oracle, or similar solutions is preferred
  • Certifications in Business Analysis, Agile, Scrum, Product Ownership, or Procurement are preferred but not mandatory
  • Must have extensive experience using Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) for professional documentatio
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Extensive knowledge of Agile frameworks and the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with experience applying Agile and SDLC principles in enterprise system implementation projects
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to independently research complex issues, analyze relationships among multiple factors, identify root causes, anticipate risks, evaluate alternatives, and recommend practical solutions

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
