This role provides the opportunity to contribute to meaningful business and technology initiatives across Beca, helping deliver practical and fit-for-purpose solutions that support our people, clients and business objectives. Working within cross-functional teams, you will apply business analysis approaches, principles and techniques to support the design, delivery and continuous improvement of business processes, systems and ways of working.

Your responsibilities will include leading and supporting business analysis activities across a range of projects and initiatives, eliciting, documenting and validating business requirements through workshops, interviews, process reviews and stakeholder engagement. You will analyse current business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and help design future-state processes and solutions that align with business goals.

You will act as a trusted advisor, collaborating with business stakeholders, subject matter experts and technical teams to simplify complexity and deliver practical outcomes. You will define and manage business, functional and non-functional requirements, support solution design activities, and contribute to testing, implementation and change management efforts. You will also create and maintain business analysis documentation, process maps, system requirements and status reports.

Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, stakeholder management and communication skills are essential. The ability to manage competing priorities, work across multiple initiatives and adapt to changing business needs will be key to your success.

We are seeking a candidate with over 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally working on large and complex business or technology projects. You will have experience gathering and documenting requirements, analysing business processes, facilitating workshops and stakeholder discussions, and translating business needs into practical solutions.

As an experienced Business Analyst, you can balance strategic thinking with attention to detail. You are comfortable working across both business and technical environments, can quickly understand complex problems and effectively communicate solutions to a wide range of stakeholders.

You are passionate about business improvement and enjoy partnering with people to identify opportunities, challenge thinking and drive positive outcomes. You build trusted relationships, influence effectively and are motivated by delivering practical solutions that create lasting value for the business.
