Job Description

The Business Analyst is a senior individual contributor responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements to support the delivery of high‑quality technology solutions. This role serves as a key liaison between business partners and technology teams, ensuring business needs are clearly understood, translated, and traceable through design, build, testing, and release.

The Business Analyst partners closely with Solution Owners, Technical Leads, Project Managers, QA, and Business Subject Matter Experts to ensure requirements are complete, testable, and aligned to business outcomes. This role operates independently on complex initiatives and contributes to consistent delivery execution through strong analysis, documentation, and communication practices.

Within Sonexus, Business Analysts help ensure Patient Access and Support Services are enabled through well‑defined requirements, clear process understanding, and strong collaboration between business and IT teams—supporting reliable platforms that enable patient journeys, program operations, and client engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Operates as an experienced individual contributor, capable of independently handling complex analysis work
  • Applies a thorough understanding of business analysis concepts, principles, and techniques
  • Works on initiatives of moderate to large scope with limited day‑to‑day direction
  • Develops high‑quality, well‑structured requirements and documentation that support effective delivery
  • Proactively identifies risks, gaps, and impacts and communicates them clearly
  • Influences outcomes through analysis quality, facilitation skills, and collaboration
  • May mentor or provide guidance to less experienced Business Analysts
  • Clear, complete, and well‑structured requirements that reduce rework and ambiguity
  • Strong alignment between business needs and delivered solutions
  • Effective collaboration with Solution Owners, Technical Leads, QA, and business partners
  • Consistent traceability from requirements through testing and acceptance
  • Increased confidence in delivery outcomes driven by strong analysis and communication

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 4–8 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role preferred
  • Proven experience gathering requirements from non‑technical stakeholders and partnering with technical teams
  • Strong understanding of SDLC processes and the role of Business Analysis across delivery phases
  • Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience supporting enterprise or healthcare technology solutions
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Experience writing detailed test cases and supporting QA activities
  • Proficiency with documentation tools and standard desktop applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Anticipated salary range: $80,900 - $115,500
