Job Description – Business Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze existing code logic, data flows, dependencies, and batch processing cycles.
Document data lineage, processing behavior, and system interdependencies.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and swap-in/swap-out comparisons during migration.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for data discrepancies and processing issues.
Define validation scenarios and acceptance criteria with business stakeholders.
Support UAT activities, defect tracking, and sign-off documentation.
Assess pipeline, scheduling, runtime, and environment dependencies for refresh and automation readiness.
Perform UI testing of Business Rules Engine (BRE) applications.
Validate business rules, workflows, calculations, and functionality.
Design and execute positive, negative, boundary, and regression test scenarios.
Required Skills:
Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in data analysis and validation.
Experience with complex data processing workflows and batch execution cycles.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
Experience in UAT planning, execution, and defect tracking.
Knowledge of data lineage, reconciliation, and migration validation.
Familiarity with Agile, JIRA, and Confluence.
Preferred Skills:
Hands-on experience with PySpark.
Basic knowledge of Azure Data Services and Databricks.
Exposure to data migration, data warehousing, and cloud data platforms.
Experience with Business Rules Engine (BRE) testing.
