POSITION DETAILS

Position Summary

The primary focus of this role is to ensure consistent execution of business reporting and analytics deliverables. The role is responsible for recurring analytical outputs across key business functions, including data analysis, report preparation, and data management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of our data systems and solutions.

Principal Activities

• Perform ETL processes by extracting and validating data for use in reporting and analytics.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs and recurring reports for cross-functional teams and top management.
• Evaluate and implement new analytics tools, methodologies, and automation to improve efficiency and insight quality.
• Assist in defining data governance standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT and data teams on data architecture, system integrations, and analytics platforms.
• Supports queries and reports to address operating needs.
• Ensure clean, accurate, and consistent data across all systems and reporting platforms.
• Ability to transform and interpret complex data into clear, meaningful information.
• Review and configure data storage solutions, including relational databases and cloud storage services.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to analyze information needs and functional requirements; deliver those requirements with accuracy and in a timely manner.
• Design functional process flows to ensure optimization and synchronization of systems, including identifying/advising on best applications for specific business processes.
• Perform root cause analysis on data issues and collaborate to resolve discrepancies across systems.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

• Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, MicroStrategy).
• Experience in Microsoft SQL Server, writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Ability to manage a large amount of transactional and operational data and identify trends using analytical tools and techniques.
• Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365).
• Understanding of cloud-based platforms and services (e.g., Azure).
• Prior experience with an ERP system and related business processes, preferable IFS and/or SAP.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively, through innovation & process re-engineering.
• Be an independent problem solver with the ability to creatively translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Manage multiple priorities, both independently and as a team player.
• Strong time management skills, with the interpersonal skills required to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education & Experience

• 2+ years in an analytical reporting role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or Engineering. MBA degree (Marketing or Finance) preferred.
• Prior experience with an ERP system and related business processes, preferable IFS and/or SAP.
• Prior experience with a Business Intelligence tool, MicroStrategy or Power BI preferred.
• Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365).
