We are looking for a (junior) Continuous improvement Business Analyst to support all businesses. You will report directly into the VP Continues Improvement. As CI is considered a global priority within Stolt-Nielsen you will act as key driver. The role requires a confident, efficient and self-motivated individual, who is a capable communicator with the ability to influence people and projects with analysis.
Stolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL) are experts in bulk-liquid logistics and sustainable land-based aquaculture. We also invest in opportunities aligned to these industries.
What you will be doing
The Business Analyst provides support to the CI Experts and works closely with them to determine and deliver expert business analysis activities and deliverables on various assigned projects.
Key responsibilities
• Provide support to the CI Experts in various project activities.
• Gather and interpret (financial and non-financial) information/data to participate in production of business cases.
• Produce high quality papers and PowerPoint presentations.
• Work with project team to ensure data presented is valid.
• Filter and infer relevant information from large data sets.
• Coordinate and facilitate workshops for the programs.
• Support solving issues by identifying current conditions, goal setting, doing root cause analysis and identifying counter measures, creating business cases, baselining and supporting the implementation and measurement of the impact.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher - Technical (Engineering preferred).
• 3-7 years of working experience.
• Proven business analysis experience.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Experience in data modelling.
• Experience or knowledge in shipping operations or related operational processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, for internal and external delivery.
• Excellent MS Office suite skills, advanced excel skills is required.
• Power BI skills (nice to have).
