The ISO Underwriting unit of Verisk Insurance Solutions is hiring a Business Analyst as part of the team developing and supporting ISO’s Electronic Rating Content (ERC) product. As a Business Analyst at Verisk, you will be part of our Underwriting Products team, working closely with product managers and IT to enable success for our customers and drive the ERC product forward.
• Ability to develop and retain in depth knowledge of Verisk Rating and ERC Rating offerings
• Analyze and Implement insurance manual updates for supported lines within ERC
• Implement the updates using Object Oriented Programming concepts
• Keep management apprised of critical problems and the status of all assigned Customers/Partners
• Develop and manage project scopes and associated requirements
• Work with business development teams in the development, manage and support of new Partners
• Knowledge of API technology and API requests
• Troubleshoot issues and solve problems, identify potential process improvement
• Production support for answering questions around ERC product offering
• Ability to work independently and within Team environment
• Work with management to develop performance basis measurements and complete all defined responsibilities
• Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
• Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.
• BS/BA or equivalent
• Proven background in effectively managing customer relationships
• Commercial lines admitted business experience
• Java or C# equivalent knowledge is beneficial
• Highly motivated self-starter, with strong analytical, inter-personal and leadership skills
• Technical skills which include competency with development environments and insurance software products would be a plus
• Ability to garner attention and convey confidence in ability to teach and coach Customers/Partners
• Polished communication, presentation, and leaderships qualities
