About the role

The Business Analyst drives data-driven decision-making across Benelux by providing commercial insights, analytics, forecasting, and customer segmentation to support Strategic Account Managers , Key Account Managers , and leadership. The role develops and automates reporting solutions, delivers performance and profitability analyses, and leverages internal and external data to identify growth opportunities. Acting as the Power BI and Salesforce effectiveness expert, the Business Analyst ensures high-quality reporting, territory management, and data governance. The position also supports rebate modeling, pricing strategies, and commercial contracting decisions. Through continuous improvement initiatives, the role promotes a strong analytics culture and enables sustainable business performance across the region.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Commercial Performance & Business Insights : Deliver commercial insights, forecasting, pricing, profitability, and performance analysis to support business growth.
  • Data Integration & Automation :Improve data quality, reporting, and efficiency through automation and analytics solutions. Contribute to the evolution of the Benelux data architecture to support sustainable analytics capabilities.
  • Reporting & Visualization (Power BI): Develop dashboards and reports that provide accurate and actionable business insights.
  • Rebate Analysis & Modeling: Analyze performance, including growth, profitability, and volume impact, and calculate rebate provisions to support accurate financial postings.
  • Market Intelligence & External Data :Generate market and customer insights using internal and external data sources.
  • Continuous Improvement :Drive data-driven decision-making and support commercial improvement projects.
  • Territory Management : Develop customer segmentation frameworks in collaboration with the Business Units. Monitor data quality and resolve inconsistencies to maintain reliable territory and customer master data.
  • Sales Incentives (SIP): Support incentive calculations and compliance processes.
  • Salesforce Effectiveness : Maintain Salesforce data, support enhancements, and contribute to CRM-related projects and initiatives. Represent the country or hub in European initiatives and projects related to Salesforce topics, including calls, user acceptance testing, action requests, and feedback loops. Support change requests related to Salesforce topics, ensure stakeholder alignment, and follow up with IT and the SFDC team.

About you

We are looking for an analytical and commercially minded professional who can turn complex data into actionable business insights. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with advanced analytical capabilities and is comfortable partnering with sales, marketing, finance, and leadership teams to drive performance and support strategic decision-making.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analytics, commercial analytics, sales operations, business intelligence, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience supporting commercial teams through forecasting, budgeting, pricing, profitability, and performance analysis.
  • Strong expertise in Power BI, data visualization, and dashboard development.
  • Experience with data automation, process optimization, and integrating multiple data sources.
  • Solid understanding of customer segmentation, territory planning, and sales performance management.
  • Experience working with customer relationship management systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into clear business recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills across multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience in healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, or another highly regulated industry is considered an advantage.
