Industry: Investment
The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting business performance analysis, identifying new business opportunities, conducting financial and market analysis, and providing strategic recommendations to support the company's growth initiatives. The role works closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to evaluate investment opportunities, improve business processes, and contribute to the successful execution of business development strategies.
Main Responsibilities:
Business Performance Analysis
- Gather, monitor, and analyze business performance data, including financial reports, KPIs, and operational metrics.
- Conduct financial analysis and financial modeling to support existing business operations.
- Analyze business performance and provide recommendations for operational improvements.
- Prepare management reports, presentations, and business performance summaries.
- Support data-driven decision-making through business and financial analysis.
Business Development and Market Research
- Conduct market research, industry analysis, and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
- Perform feasibility studies and evaluate the potential of new business initiatives.
- Assist in developing business cases and investment proposals.
- Support the execution of new business projects and expansion initiatives.
Strategic Planning
- Work closely with the Business Development Manager and senior management to support long-term business strategies.
- Analyze market trends, economic conditions, and industry developments.
- Provide strategic recommendations to improve business performance and support organizational growth.
- Assist in developing new products, services, and market expansion strategies.
Process Improvement
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement business solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
- Develop business process models and workflow documentation.
Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with internal departments to collect business information and project updates.
- Communicate analysis results and project progress to management.
- Maintain proper documentation for business projects, research, and operational activities.
- Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Other Responsibilities
- Support special projects assigned by Management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Business Development Manager.
Main Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with 1–2 years of experience in Business Analysis, Financial Analysis, Financial Modeling, Investment Analysis, or related fields are preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial reports, business data, and market trends.
- Knowledge of financial analysis, business analysis, and market research methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Khmer.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Good organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with management and stakeholders.
- High level of commitment, professionalism, and attention to detail.
